• Doing a trial is a great idea. This way I can get an understanding for what type of look you’re going for, and you can get a feel for my application. It’s fun to sit and discuss different options, and man there are MANY!!!! I really like to take the time listen to you while offering some of my suggestions. Whether it’s two different eye looks, or a couple of shades on the lips, I want you to feel comfortable and confident for your big day!

  • When arriving to your trial, it is helpful to have a few ideas in mind. Even though I may have a few suggestions, it’s nice to start on the same page. Comb through magazines, Instagram, or Pinterest! Even if its pictures of what you DON’T LIKE, at least I’ll know! Then I will be able to apply the look according to what suits your features.

  • Also, bring in pictures of your wedding gown and bridesmaids dresses. It is nice to coordinate your look with the other colors that will be surrounding you on that day.

  • Your lipstick is the only part of the application that might fade during the day due to your first kiss, drinking, and eating. So, I ask Bride’s to either purchase the lipstick we choose during trial, or if you have a lip color you love, than bring it with you for your trial. If it works with the look we are going for, than I will be sure to use it. Same goes for your bridal party. It’s nice to have it to reapply for all of your pictures throughout the day.

  • Prior to your wedding day, the best way to insure flawless makeup is to take care of your skin. To help prepare, receiving regular facials at least 6 months prior, will help to alleviate dehydration, irritation, or diffused redness. Besides that it is super relaxing, the best makeup is applied on healthy skin.

  • Obviously I have my own personal preferred vendor list. Need someone?? Just ask!! After being in the business for 14 years, I have been in touch with many resources and would love to put you in touch with some fantastic vendors!
